Can anyone tell me where the manual bilge pump switch is located in a 1995 h40.5?

Thanks in advance

If it's a manual pump, there would be no switch. If you mean the switch for the elec pump, on the lower portion of the electrical panel

Now that I reread the post... Yes the switch for the electric bulge pump. There is a momentary switch labeled "auto/man" on mine. Is that it?

the pump should activate (regardless of the float level) if you hold the switch on manual. Release to return to auto mode

Turns out the female spade lug connector was detached from this switch, so manual just didnt work. All fixed now. thanks!

As strange as this sounds

Can you post a pic of this switch and its location?

I have a 40.5 and don't have this whatsover

I do however have another switch there with auto/man which I have always thought but never diagnosed was wired up and labelled incorrectly......

Because it didn't affect what its labelled as and lights up when the item is powered on I have left it.

Now I am incredibly curious!

Also, any ideas why they fuse the bloody thing at the back of the boat?
