Long time no see

Hello All-
It has been a long time since I posted (almost a year). My last post was about the changes in my life (divorce) and selling my boat, Emmanuel, a 1995 Hunter 40.5.
The divorce is almost final and Emmanuel has been on the hard all this time. I feel bad for neglecting her but in these past months I have been busy planning a new life and at this point it does not include boat ownership. I was able to sail a bit last summer with a friend of mine and hope to do the same again this summer. I have been missing all my old sailing buddies here and wanted to pop in and see how everyone has been (assuming anyone remembers me:cry. Rick D. cruises my FB page now and then and it is always good to hear from him. I plan on hanging around for a bit and may even throw in my two cents from time to time. Hope you all are well.

LOL...my divorce that I went through a few years ago was a pain. I was able to maintain ownership of my boat, but I do feel the pinch of the reduction in funds.

I was re-married almost 2 years ago. You have to move on with your life.

Good luck and hang around. Once you have sailed, you will always come back. you will probably end up owning a boat again in the future.

Hi PrincessoftheLake. So sorry to hear of your life changes. Sorry things did not work out for the both of you. Too bad the boat is not in your future. But I guess in situations like this having available cash is better than an additional mortgage or boat payment.
