yesterday I finished grinding down the keel, applied Ophso and then 3 coats of Rustlok. Today I noticed that there are blisters in one area. Anyone got an idea what I may have done wrong? I guess I'll need to sand it down in those areas and re apply

How long did you allow the Ophso to dry? Ophso contains acids and these will continue to react with the rust for a long time. You should give it 24 hours to dry. If you painted over this to soon the chemical reaction and gassing could have continued as the paint dried causing the blistering.

You should have waited another day before putting on the rustloc, for the ospho to quit working.

This may have been the problem, I was finishing up some of the last small areas of rust on the STB side then after a two to three hour started to paint on the port side.

thanks, makes me feel a little better knowing what I did, not a lot but a little better

Well you may not feel a lot better but at least you know what not to do next time. It is all a learning experience that is part of the fun. (ok sometimes more fun then others lol)
