Are the 12V panel breakers/switches still available? There's a spot on my panel for a fridge switch, but no switch.

I tried searching the forum, as I'm sure this must've been answered before, but my searches (even "advanced") seem to always search the whole site. I also looked at the factory letter, but didn't see a source for the panels.

Seems like the usual sources, like Defender and Hamilton, just see Blue Sea.

Thanks.

Thanks, Woody. I looked at the panel again yesterday and realized I didn't have anything connected to the spreader lights switch. I'll move that to the refridge position (assuming it's of proper rating) and put the plug in the spreader lights slot. I'll get specs off the switch/breaker and will compare it to the link you gave me. It'd sure be nice to have the panel fully loaded and even have a spare or two.

You're the best!

Bizarrely enough, the panel already has a factory "refridge" label, so that's not an issue. I'd like to label all the spares, though, that are now used for the autopilot, chartplotter, instruments, etc., and am thinking about buying one of those Brother label makers that supposedly you can buy black tape that it'll print white on. Or maybe it's just white tape that it inverses the image when it prints, so it leaves the text area white. I'll let you know how that works.

I do drive by West Marine on the way to work. I try to avoid going in there, if I can, as I tend to get in trouble. I need some blinders so I just head to the electrical section. I'll pull one of the breakers and take it in. And thanks for the page reference!

Guess I should drag out the Norcooler manual and see what the current draw is.

I just bought 10 from Paneltronics.com. Part number for the 5 amp is 206-070s, 10 amp is 206-071S, 15 amp is 206-072s. Cost if you buy them off their website is $10.39. If you call them and order them on the phone, they are more expensive. I called, then sent a picture of my breaker and they emailed me back the same day with the part numbers. Then I ordered online. I received them in a few days and they work perfectly.

The breakers are kinda standard /common. DC breakers can be used for AC, but AC breakers cannot be used for Dc. Ie the breakers you use for your home are not to be used on the boat...

You can Google DC breakers and find them in eBay...

Or most anywhere..
