The other day looking under boat information, there were too many pop ups and ads. Trying to x out some ads, hitting the x key did not work! Are you experiencing this too. Who is handling the content?
Only thing worse is a member not in good standing i.e. telling bad jokes, not answering to replies, long absences, that sort of thing.I guess it is the penalty for not being a member.....

Yep, I had a couple of good years with no ads and now face the same fate.A little off topic but related...
YouTube has now blocked me from viewing any videos until I disable my ad blocker
or pay for their premium service.
It's everywhere!
Do you have to be guilty of all three to be "not in good standing"? I'm only guilty of telling bad jokes...Only thing worse is a member not in good standing i.e. telling bad jokes, not answering to replies, long absences, that sort of thing.
this is probably worth figuring out. I'm not getting any ads. Here is what it looks like for me... no adsWhen I go to Boat Info, the page shows that I'm logged into SBO, but I still get ads to the left, right and on the bottom, plus a pop-up ad for a pdf download.
Try making the window larger, that may force the ads off to the side so they don't interfere with viewing the content.rgranger, I see ads specifically on the boat info page.

It's already full screen on my laptop.Try making the window larger, that may force the ads off to the side so they don't interfere with viewing the content.
If i make the window smaller, the ads are forced to the side:It's already full screen on my laptop.
OK, so I'm spoiled by my 27" screen. Reducing the font size may help, but that will make you squint more. It's already full screen on my laptop.
No worries. Tks for your responses.if just moving the ads to a new position was within my powers, I would do that, but it is not.
