Zink locations on 29.5

I have a 1994 hunter 29.5 and am looking at trying to place a zink anode on the prop shaft...problem is, there does not seem to be very much room between the prop and the cutlass bearing...anyone else have it located on their shaft???? also, if there is not enough room between the prop and c bearing, can one be fitted on the shaft inside the boat???
