You can probably steal this boat

I happened to stumble across this boat a few days ago. It is a CS 27. Owned by a lady who's husband has passed. Do not know her, never met her. Looks to be in pretty decent condition. It has a tiller with a Yanmar. ( Single cylinder I think. ) From what little I know about them, the CS boats are extremely well built, and I think this one can be bought at a price that is almost stealing. Anyone interested, drop me an emai, or post, and I will try to find out a little more about it. Boat is located in Slidell, La.

No Pic

Don't have a pic, but will get you one in the next few days. I didn't look real close, but what from what I remember it looks pretty decent. It has been sitting there for some time now. What I know for sure is that they bought it for retirement, and he passed away. She has someone who looks after it for her, and really wants to get it sold. I would be real surprised if it couldn't be bought for under 5K. It is at Bonfuca Marina in Slidell. I'll get over there in a few days and check it out a little better, and get her name and phone #.

Gustav Damage

Very minor damage here. The boat, had no damage, except a bunch of stuff inside ended up in the floor. The dock floated up and is in the yard. ( Don't know how that happened.) One shutter ripped off in front. Thats about it. But don't untie anything yet. Looks like Ike is headed our way, and every new projection is the same. No one I know had any major damage. Seadance and her hubby had a roller furler on their main, and it was pretty well shredded, but thats all I know of. Have some friends with boats in Marina Del Ray and Bayou Bonfuca Marina, and no damage there that I know of. Another friend who anchored up up river from Madisonville, near the I 12 bridge and he is fine. Now if we can just dodge a direct hit from Ike. My mind keeps thinking back to Katrina and Rita.
