Paul & Judy,

Nice site and looks like it has many manuals that are no available other places. Problem is, you have to be on-line to use it. I have a 2GM20F and have found all the manuals for it as downloaded PDFs. I keep them on our pads so we have t?hem even off line in remote anchorages. I also managed to find most of the manual (downloaded) for all of our other items like water maker, radar, chart plotter etc..... ;)

Did you also find the catalog of part numbers? I find that an invaluable companion to the shop manual.

And once you have a part number, check it out on the TOAD site http://shop.toadmarinesupply.com/marine_diesel_direct/Yanmar/ to see if it has been superseded with a new part number (and you can see the price).

I can't remember where I found a link to the part number catalog - but it's from a Dutch company (the catalog is in English). There were separate pdf's for 1GM10, 2GM20 and 3GM30. Each covered both raw and fresh water configurations as well as all the various transmissions (even had my V drive). I have the 3GM30 is anyone needs it.

Chris,

Yes I did get a copy of the parts manual. I have found and downloaded 3 manuals for our 2GM20F.

Don't remember exactly where they are, but they ARE out there for free download.

Good link to the price & parts ref. It seems that they change part numbers often!
