At the risk of jinxing myself, I wanted to follow-up on an issue I reported on two or three seasons ago: my yanmar 1gm ('85 Hunter 25.5) would bog down, exhibiting symptoms of a loose throttle cable or clogged mixing elbow etc. Well, half way through this season I dosed the fuel with additive and water remover (separate products) and the engine has run like a champ since.I wish I had tried this last season, before I had the injector replaced
At any rate, for those who are reluctant to use fuel additive as I was, you might want to try it. of course now that I've posted this I am sure the engine will bog the very next sail
