My Whitlock (Lewmar?) motor control lever on my H326 is pretty stiff and it's quite hard to find neutral! The friction screw is backed right off,
The control is in a pod on top of a stainless pole and right next to the binnacle. I can't figure out how to open the pod up to inspect/lubricate the mechanism inside to hopefully fix my problem. There are 4 recessed screws at the back of the pod I can just see but can't easily access them as the binnacle is in the way! Are these the access screws (once the control lever is removed)?
I also would like to get a new rubber button for the gearbox disengage pin to replace the bit of electrical tape currently used - any sources?
