I need a good mechanic to replace a leaking gasket (timing cover?) any suggestions?

I go to larsen, their mechanic is the guy that teaches the yanmar/diesal engine classes at the sail show at navy pier, it's located in waukegan.

Did you find a mechanic yet. I have one and I am looking for his card. Everyone at Columbia Yacht Club uses him.
