Some caution on nomenclature:
The 3GM30F is a larger bore and stroke engine than the 3GMF. The heat exchangers are interchangeable, and as far as I know, most of the parts except the parts related to the larger bore and stroke are also interchangeable (cyl head, pistons, cyl head gasket, crankshaft, etc).

There was another link somewhere on this forum to a parts manual with all GM versions side by side, not just the 3gm30. I'v got it somewhere if it's not in the manual sections let me know and I'll email a copy
