Yanmar oil
Yanmar claims that their oil has been developed for use in small, high speed diesels. (Small is less than HP that is measured in thousands). I'm reasonably sure that Yanmar does not have their own refinery and that the oil is relabled sombody-else's. If it has truly been reblended I cannot say with certainty. There are probably as many oil brands as there are religeous denominations. I would not try for a conversion in either. If you have a favorite brand, use it, but stick with it. All the manufacturers have different additives and changing brands could introduce an incompatable combination.
