I have a Yanmar 4jh3e on a new Catalina sailboat and it seems to eat oil at 3000 RPM and above. I lose a quart in 30 hrs.There is no blue smoke but some white smoke on startup and a lot of soot on the transom. The rpms top out at 3400 and prop may be pitched too high but can this cause oil loss? The owner's handbook suggests the injector timing is off. Any ideas? Rick
