Yanmar 4jh heat exchanger

I have just had to go through the process of changing my heat exchanger and found the cost of genuine yanmar cores is crazy- my business is contract manufacturing- I can have these made in a factory that already makes H.E. cores and I am wondering just how much demand there might be for them, if they were a more affordable price??

I think there are a bunch of the cores that are nearing replacement now. So many were installed in the boat building surge of the 80's -90's and, in salt water service especially, will be needing replacement .. I have worked with heat exchangers a lot and have some contacts locally that I planned to use to re-tube the existing end plates when that became necessary. Current price from Toad Marine is $660 (US) for the 3GMF core (128390-44401).. I figure a good shop could make money at around 50% of that price, but they'd have to have the computer files for dimensions since there are quite a few different sizes for the different engine models.
