Yanmar 3gmf zinc

Does the Yanmar 3gmf engine have an internal pencil zinc?

The 3 gmf does. not have a zinc .

I agree with @kloudie1 …. No zinc on the “F” model.

I have a 2GM20F, and no zinc.

Agree with Kloudie and Tally Ho. The 3GM30F on my previous sailboat did not have a zinc. The manual referred to it having a zinc but it did not have one.

I have the 3GM30f in my 2001 Hunter 340. There is no zinc internal pencil .Despite what the shop manual says, I have been all over the engine and did not see anything that was a zinc pencil anode. If you do not have the shop manual you can buy it from Mack Boring in Somerset NJ the last I looked.
