Where can we find maintenance parts for the Yanmar 2GM20(F) auxiliary engine? For example: belts, filters, impellers, gaskets.

NAPA carries WIX brand filters for marine engines and to fit Racor fuel filters, I get a lot of parts from an independent auto/marine parts store a couple blocks inland from the harbor. They carry WIX oil filters, Racor brand fuel filters, Johnson and Jabsco impellors, and marine hoses (wire reinforced, exhaust, shaft log etc.) with luck there may be something similar near you.

Check your local marinas and service yards. A Hunter dealer near me stocks tons of Yanmar parts and mails it to me with an invoice or I go pick it up. TOAD is also a good place to get parts.
I have been advised by the maintenance guys there not to use anything but Yanmar oil filters as they have a built in regulator for the high pressure off the pump. They said they have seen Frams and others have the seals blown right out of them. Use at your own risk to save a few bucks was their advice. I don't scrimp there.

You can even try ebay for some stuff. There is a run dry impeller available, for example [not that this is the recommended procedure]. I don't believe Yanmar makes belts, so if you have the specs, you can use any manufacturer [just cross referencing part numbers does not always produce accurate results]. Lots of folks have modified the air intake to do away with the OEM filter which fairly quickly seems to end up as a crankcase oil dye.
I use Laborde Products 985-892-0107. Mike in parts is great. He has owned a hunter and knows a great deal about Yanmar.. He helped me put together a spare part kit bag.
I ran into the same issue. Found parts, could not ship to my state... err. However I did find out after almost a year that my local DIY yard mechanic can get the parts ordered and delivered to the yard.
1. You really don't save much if any money buying non-yanmar filter for the engine.
2. You belts can be replaced with Gates Belts which are excellent alternatives.
3. Racor filters are readily available.
4. Impellers from Johnson are okay but Yanmar has some advantages depending on your motor.
5. How often do we need to replace gaskets? Buy them from you local distributor/dealer.
Yanmar OEM part are only available from regional dealer/distributors, but you can shop.
