Yamaha 33 MAINSHEET traveler

Hey Yami owners

My main traveler car is ready for replacement.
Anybody ever replaced this?
Any idea what make it might be.
My track has the same specs as a Rostan T Track
Car has same specs as a Ronstan RF826 but that car is a bit undersized for the boat.
11/4 wide…11/4 height…track specs
Geeez that car must be original….

Unfortunately, you have not pictured the track, which is also important when looking for a replacement car. Notice the size of the wheels. Measuring the wheel diameter will help you find a replacement. You might start with this Barton product. But my suggestion is to find a source that offers many brands of cars so you can narrow your search down to those builders that actually make a car similiar to yours. I have seen similar cars at Minney's Yacht Surplus in Costa Mesa/Newport Beach Ca. Although they may be too big for your track. That's why you need the wheel size.

Check Fisheries in Seattle to see if they have something that can fit your track.
That is where I found a car for my traveler on my 1974 Cal

Thanks for the replies…I will search used boat gear places if nothing new can be purchased…found a Ronstan rf826 that looks promising. Fisheries is trying to locate one.

Mainly wondered what other Yamaha 33 owners have done.
