Good afternoon

I recently bought a Yamaha 25ft beauty!

She's moored in Macau, China and under the name Elissa. Her registration number under the Macau Maritime Authority is DER0471M... however no Year of Built... it's blank and i can't find the year in any of the plates in the boat!!!
I can't even identify if it's a
YAMAHA 25
YAMAHA 25 Mk 2
YAMAHA 25 Mk 2 Tall rig
YAMAHA 25-2
YAMAHA 25-2 SD

So... you fellow Yamaha owners... if can identify her for me... would be great also...so finally i could call her a name...and know her exact age!

Meanwhile... i would like also to know if any of you fellow owner had ever tried to fit a shower on the 25ft model... if so...how we can do it.
I would also appreciate if someone could send some pictures of the interiors of the 25 to see the diferent solutions and interior layouts.

Can either post here or send me direct email to joao@pubeditions.com

Thank you all and good winds...

No doubt, you have a 25 MK II. Congratulations.
Here http://web.mac.com/hdj/iWeb/My Sailboat Wa/Wa.html is nice place, this guy loves his 25 MK II.
Bob kindly sent me a scanned manual when I have bought mine 25 MK II.
Thank you for the info.

Would like to ask if ok to contact you later in case i need some more specific photos of the interior.
I'm doing renovation now and would be great to have pictures for reference.
For instance, i need to replace the wood pillar on both starboard and port side. Is it possible to remove it (all the bolts and screws) without being worried with the weight on the cockpit (it seems that area its part of the structure to hold the shape of the boat)?

Thank you

Please feel free to ask me whatever you need.
I am not sure about correct terminology. Do you mean plywood bulkheads near transom under the cockpit? Rear bulkheads does not support cockpit anyhow. My boat came without port side half-bulkhead and cockpit is OK. Starboard half-bulkhead also was removed during boat's restoration and I have not seen any problems with it.

I am not sure, but I think this parts is not critically important in hull's or deck shape supporting. However, you have to remove the mast first if you want to replace this parts because they hold almost all load from shrouds.

Hi and welcome aboard... If you are talking about the bulkhead pieces with the chain plate bolts etc... I would not remove them... I would have to say this is very integral to your boat in many, many ways...
Good luck
