I acquired my 25 MkII from Michigan and it now resides in the Annapolis, MD, area. I have a fairly simple question about the manual cockpit operated bilge pump and where it drains. I traced the hoses and the drain converges on a valve/seacock thru hull in near the stern. Any water collected in the cockpit drains into the same are also. Does this valve need to be opened only when underway to induce flow and get the bilge fluids collected by manual pumping out of the hull?
I also saw that another owner had a Jabsco Amazon (P/N 29270-000) manual bilge pump on his boat. Can this be bolted in without any modification in terms of spacers, additional drilling ,etc.?
Thanks all
