I found closed posts concerning replacements for the engine control unit that fits on a Yacht Specialties pedestal. This is the 7" diameter unit that holds the shift and fuel levers.
There had been some news of a company making the part out of aluminum rather than plastic (true). Subsequent posts advised that they were no longer making them (true).
As of today (May 2015) they apparently restarted making them and I just ordered one off the shelf for $250 plus shipping.
