Y30 Dodger

Hi Folks,
I've seen a few 33's with dodgers, but wondering if anyone has had luck putting one on a Y30 Tall Rig.
Seems like my boom might be too low to be practical. And I'd need to move the mainsheet blocks further aft on the boom but ....
Would be nice for our PNW weather. (Wet on top as well as below!)

So, nobody with a Yam 30 with dodger? No "non-flippant" answers?

My 30 didn't have one, but there's a nice one on a 30 that's somewhere in the neighborhood of Fiji right now. They're little stubby things because of the mainsheet traveler being where it is. About all they do is shade the companionway. I'm not a fan because they interfere with the lines, but I represent a small minority, I think.

I don't have a dodger for the same reason as you. A friend has a dodger on his Y30 with hard windows but I am certain his boom is higher. The rig was replaced before he bought the bought. Apparently the previous rig suffered a "failure".
