I need to make a very sharp turn out of my new Jabsco Y-valve. Jabsco says I cannot glue a 90degree PVC elbow to their plastic, it will break.
What about using a preformed radiator hose? They come with sharp elbows. I can cut it short so it's not a big part of the plumbing. One end goes onto the Y-valve hose barb, the other gets a hose barb connector to mate to my new Trident 101 hose.
It won't have the odor protection of the Trident so could I coat it with something? Paint? Epoxy? Peanut Butter? Something to seal in the odors. The whole thing wouldn't be more than 8" long
Peggy, have you seen anything like this done?
Thanks much
