Can anyone recommend a wrist watch that shows tide times? Father's Day is coming and it's the one present that I could think of when my wife asked. The fantasy product is a digital sports writswatch with tides. Be nice to have one that's reasonably accurate for local major tide station (Savannah River) or perhaps programmable by an offset. Not a luxury watch, don't want to ask her to spend any more than $100. Seems like Casio or Timex ought to have developed one by now. But I haven't been able to find one! Any help appreciated!

Casio

Casio Sea-Pathfinder is one. The link below has the details, and the best price I've found on the net. At that price, it's about twice the price of a G-Shock.(This is NOT a recommendation for the vendor; I know nothing about them. Found on Alta Vista, I think.)

Nike Typhoon

I looked around for a long time trying to find a watch that had a tide table, dual time zones, is very easy to read, and simple to use. I got everything I wanted in a Nike watch that looks good enough to wear to work but also does what I need it to do on the water. It called the Typhoon and was slightly over $100 but worth every penny. It actually has a list of over 200 beaches already loaded in so you just need to scroll the display to pick out the one closest to you, from that point on the tide info is just one button push away plus there's a graphical display when you're in the regular chronometer mode. Check out the Nike website. Good luck Frank S.V. Lazy Dogs

Casio Sea-Pathfinder SPF40-1V

I have this watch, and love it! It takes a bit of patience to get it set up initially, but it's worth the effort. I highly recommend it.
