Wow! Talk about customer service!!

I'm putting this here because this is where I hang out; but it most probably belongs in General Interest. I posted an article about problems with the centerboard on my 240 (specifically a broken sheave). Imagine my surprise when Greg from Hunter Marine tracked me down to offer assistance! Of course, he'd already helped me a day or two earlier by sending me the part free of charge, but that didn't matter. What's important is that Hunter backs their products so well that their service staff takes the additional steps to identify problems and then takes the trouble to track down the people and try to solve them. In my opinion, THAT is customer service! And anyone who asks me why I chose Hunter over any other brand, I can honestly say that it's not just that they have a great product; but that their customer service is fabulous. Mark Cooper

Still waiting for the part

I'm still waiting for the part; but I'm hoping it'll be here for this weekend. And, yeah, I think I will post a similar article in General Interest.
