I found this in a box of spare parts that came with a boat that I recently purchased. I have no idea what it is or what it is used for. (Actually there are two of them just alike)

Looks like a pre-feeder for a sail's luff into a foil?

That would make sense, would I tie the bull ring on under the furler drum? I have a harken system.

Yep definitely a prefeeder if your main has a bolt rope it could be for that but if it has slides. Then. Its for the headsail on a furler. Tie with 1/4" line 6" to 12" below feed slot helps line up sail to Feed into slot

Only needed if you lower and raise your headsail in anger while racing.
