Hi guys,
I would like to get some advice on this issue. I have a 40 something year old Volvo MD2B that was "supposedly rebuilt" by a local shop in Jacksonville back in 2009. It has not seen much use since then. A few hours at best.
When I picked up the motor, the guy at the shop said that they didnt touch the gearbox, it was working fine when he tested it. I took it as is as he was right. It did work. But the detents were not the best then.
Yesterday, before starting her up, I could not tell if it was in gear or not due to the fact that the detents were almost non existant.
is there an easy fix to this issue or am I going to be stuck with having to have this gear box removed and rebuilt by another self proclaimed expert?
Thank you in advance,
