Here are some shots of my boat that I just got in mid-February. I've been doing a lot of improvements, a few repairs, replacements, and upgrades. I've only had the ship out sailing once about 3 weeks ago and am itching to get it out again, but the darn weather around her has been totally lousy! (Seattle) I was planning on taking it out yesterday, but my truck is vomiting transmission fluid - not related to the boat - but a botched transmission repair that is still under warrenty. I do need some advice on towing (yes, again!) but that will be in another message thread. Tom Catalina 22 - #880 http://home.comcast.net/~tegwilym/boatfixes/

Looking good

It's looking good Tom. I'm really suffering here to get mine into the water. THe weather's not good enough for the bottom paint. One point. It may be that you are going to want the keel guides up higher to the hull. They only serve when the boat's floating and the trailer's down low. A question, could you post how tall those guides that you installed are on the trailer?

guides

The guides I put on the trailer (which might not work as I hoped, but will do something!) are the 48 inch tall version. If I stand next to the trailer they are about nose level with me (6 foot tall). I got them at Boater's World for about $60. I looked on their web page and didn't see them listed there, so I can't find much more on them. Tom

Guides Thanks

48" Thanks Tom, I think that there are a few places that sell a versin of them including West Marine & jamestowndistributors.com. If they sold them here, I'd consider. They are what I need for lining up the boat and Now is the time before she's in the water and I can't locate them on the trailer properly. Thanks again..
