Is there anywhere to buy replacement trim for a Cat 27? I'm a new owner and am looking to replace all the exterior wood trim that the previous owner neglected terribly.

Mine was grey and weathered as well. I took it all of, sanded down to clean wood and applied cetol light with clear over it. It looks great now.

Try Catalina

Call Catalina, I think that if you remove your wood and send it to them they will use it as a pattern and make you some new wood.

What grit and tool?

What did you use to sand it down with? What's a safe grit? (If you read my recent posting - I've had some problems with 'sanding' and 'grits'.) Don't want to whittle it down to unusable.
