Wood stain..

Does anyone have suggestions for the best wood stain to use to match the existing wood?

I have never used any stain on either the interior or exterior wood.I
think that mahogany stain would work best however, there are two
kinds i'm familiar with, red and plain mahogony. I'd use the plain
for interior work. No stain would be req'd for teak.

Hi Richard,
Now I am a little confused.

Does the sapele wood not need any stain to match the color of the interior? Just a clear finish?

Roy-
There is no stain used on the sapele or the teak. The varnish or oil
will darken naturaly the wood.Try some finish on some scrap to check
it out.
