Many who have been on this site may, or may not, have noticed variuos threads that I have posted referencing my new boat, a hunter 29.5 , and, my old love, an '82 h27. Well, I traded in my h27 in September for the 29.5 which is indeed a nice boat. Here is the rub though...I still love my old Cherubini 27, and it breaks my heart that, not only has my marina yacht sales not sold the boat, BUT, they're asking $10, 500.00 for it. For anyone who might be interested...THIS IS A STEAL!!! I really wish some good sailor might buy my boat and treat her well...because she certainly treated me well! I do realize this all may be a bit over the top, but, to those who have moved onward and upward...don't you miss your old boat?? 7 years of ownership have taken their toll, and, I have a soft spot in my heart for my old boat, "Passionata"...a wonderful boat, and a great deal (solid, clean, and mean!!) for anyone on the western end of Lake Erie. This is NOT a sales promotion though...I just have an ache in my heart...I love my 29.5, but, miss my 27...wish I could have both!!

I'm 2.5 steps behind ya!

I feel your pain. Sold my 25 Mac and started rebuilding a H27. The buyer of the Mac keeps it and sails it where I see it everyday.....on my way for parts and paint. Its wearing off as the H27 cleans up........... IslandJack

Tears

I can understand your pain when selling a boat you loved. When I sold my previous boat (an Ericson 27) I put a screensaver on my computer reading "Goodby JAVELIN. We will miss you." First time my wife saw it she broke into serious tears.
