Under the cockpit

They were under the cockpit also but with all the talk about gas fumes I decided to move them. The only place were I had the room to do what I wanted was under the port settee.

One major comment, the batteries should be in battery boxes that would contain the battery should the case fail.r.w.landau

Battery Switch

Curious to see the switch. Does it catch your ankles? I had thought about batteries under the settee but didn't like the idea of a long cable run to a more convenient switch location. I'm wondering if they could be recessed for better legroom clearance?

battery boxes

I have the batteries in battery trays witch is good enough for me since the boxes are to bulky and I don’t think they fit. Also the switch does not stick out to much. I have been working in the cabin every weekend hours on end and never got close to hitting the switch. The switch I used is not as big as some I have seen in WM.
