I purchased a 1988 Hunter 33.5 in May. I did not recieve any wiring diagrams with the boat and have not been able to find any in my internet reseach. I am down to one last wiring issue with the anchor light. I check the light and mast wiring during the transport and it checks out fine. Looking for some help locating a wiring diagram. Already tried contacting Hunter, no response. Does anyone have a copy?

Check Hunter web site under our fleet. They have service manuals for a number of models. They are electrical schematics.

It is pretty much an up and down circuit. 12 volts up to the light and ground back down. If you have a steaming or deck/spreader lights they also will have 12 wires going up. their grounds may be combined though. normally the mast head has one ground wire and the spreader/steaming has another that are combined at the mast base in to the mast ground wire.

Thanks, and yep pretty simple up and down circut. I checked this during the transport, with the mast down and wiring and the light are good. A little more information is the there is a direct short causing the switch/circut breaker to trip. I have swapped switches and checked the wiring behind the switch panel for the obvious. Now I am down to chasing the wiring from the swich panel to the mast step to try and find the short. nSo I was wanting to know the routing of the wiring. Some times there is only one way to do it, that is to just start and do it!
