I'm changing my standing rig wires on my o'Day 28. The size is 7/32 but I don't know if the wire is 302 or 316 SS. If it is 302 and I want to use 316 is it necessary to upgrade one size. The rigging shop is always using and recommending 316 ss without increase in size...maybe my boat has 316ss wires so this is not a problem but if it does have 302???? any comments or info would be greatly appreciated...job is starting tommorrow.
