Wires in Aft-Cabin Bulkhead

The PO installed (or had installed) the ST60 instruments on the cabintop bulkhead, but did not do such a great job of running the wires in the cabin. My question is, does the space between cabin liner and exterior bulkhead run all the way down to the traveler bridge and then under the companionway to the otherside?

By "under the companionway" do you mean the bridgedeck? If so then I think that is solid. For sure it is on the H37C. I have lots of wire going from one side to the other and it goes over the engine with wire ties holding it close to the fiberglass.

That is what i will try to do too, but the PO cut 4.5" holes in the liner and and did not mount ports there probably because the wires are running out those holes into the cabin. I want to hide them between the exterior and interiror fiberglass to a bottom exit point some place and then to the other side where needed. I can then mount access ports on the holes and tidy the mess up. I am just not sure I can drill the hole under just aft of the fore vertical surface of the liner. Steve Weinstein drilled a 4.5" hole just under the seat. I want to drill a 1" hole in the liner just forward (about 3-4") of the traveler, straight down from the instruments on the port side. That way I can make a clean exit, traverse under the bridgedeck, and then up to the other instrument on the starboard side. This is for the sea-talk and instrument cabling. I will also be mounting speakers/wire below an instrument (third instrument, wind, going closer to helm seat).

Now I see exactly what you're talking about. The answer is a definitive yes. I have a whole pile of wires and "stuff" going through exactly like you want. My boat is a lot more open there so you can see it directly. God bless Mr. Milwaukee and his little Sawzall !!

Thanks Sam. The photos are from Steve Weinstein's mod. I will add a few from Arpeggio once I get everything rewired and properly closed up with access ports. I just did not want to drill an exploratory hole if I did not need to.
