Hi All, I wanted to buy a Loos gauge this year but I am not sure which one. I need to know what is the diameter of the wire rope used on the 26s? If I remember correctly, it is 3/16 SS but want to be sure. Also, has there been published numbers for the 26s? Thanks for the help, mark

I have one. This model is good for 3/32", 1/8", and 5/32". Be advised, the shroud tensions that Loos recommends for a fractional rig are VERY tight on the Mac. You will not be able to raise/lower the mast without undoing the shrouds. My best advice is to tension them as tight as you are comfortable with, making both sides even and go sailing. See if the leeward side has too much slack on a tack.
