According to the manual you should disconnect the intake and discharge hoses, pour antifreeze into the bowl and run it through and into a bucket. I have the pressurized fresh water version. Disconnecting the hoses is really a pain. What about just running antifreeze from your freshwater tank through the solenoid valve, vacuumm breaker, then into the toilet and into the holding tank? This way you don't have to disconnect any hoses. And I already have antifreeze in the water tanks anyway. Thanks.

Those directions are for raw water toilets

To winterize a toilet that uses pressurized flush water, pour enough antifreeze into the bowl to protect the tank. After you've winterized your fresh water system, flush the toilet just long enough to see pink water enter the bowl. But first be sure to THOROUGHLY flush out your tank. Pump out and backflush the vent line to clean it out. Then put 2-3 gallons of water into it via the deck pumpout fitting--'cuz that sends the water into the tank at the bottom to stir up any sludge and hold it in suspension...pump that out. Repeat...repeat...till you're pumping out clean water. If you have an overboard discharge pump (since you're on the Great Lakes, you won't, but you're not the only one who'll read this), be sure to run plenty of clean water through it too.
