purchased my boat mid season and have never used the head. cannot find valves to the water supply for the head. (are they in the pressure water system or does it bring in outside sea water?) any help would be appreciated as i live in canada and need to be concerned with freezing within the next month so i need to close off the system for winterizing;).

The thru hull is under the starboard setee in the main cabin....it supplies water to the head...and least in the LE model.

I learned that if when winterizing the head ( filling the inlet hose with marine antifreeze ) and pumping the system full is not a good idea. The seals are gone now on the head pump and will need to be repalced. Possibly it could be the RV antifreeze that caused the issue. And Pat is correct on the location as my LE has the thru hull in the same location.

what kind of head is it? Mine is a Raritan PHII and the seals on it are relatively shot as well and I have been winterizing it by pumping water thru the hose as well....It never bothered the old original Groco HF head..Our head is maybe 4 years old and it refuses to totally seal off when pumping to the holding tank...
