I have a recently purchased 1986 Catalina 27. It is time for the boat to come out of the water and am trying to figure out how to winterize it. Engine, head, H2O system. Specifically, I have a drain tube coming from the oil pan of the Universal 18 engine.Can I drain it directly without using a pump by using gravity only? I cannot find a H2O seperator on it but can find a fuel filter. Someone told me that not all Cat. 27 have H2O seperators. is this true? Do I have to pour anti-freeze in the holding tank? In the H20 system, do I have to make sure that all lines have anti-freeze in them (esp. the valves)?
