Fairclough is in New Haven, CT. They make the best boat covers I have ever seen. I just bought one for my C-36 and installed it Sunday. I includes teh framework, and it went up very quickly. They have a large array of patterns, I'm sure they'll have one for your boat. For a 27 I'm guessing about $1500 to $2k. They will ship anywhere. If you buy one, tell them I sent you! Link below.jv
Does it have to be custom fit? A 20' x 40' blue tarp with eyelets, available from your local home improvement outlet, 300' of soft nylon rope, and about 6- 1x3x12' and 6 1x3x8' firring strips will do the job. I did mine, modelling the other "professional" jobs in the marina. Mine is better! If you need a plan, let me know. rferina@netscape.net
Phil, The big thing about the Fairclough and others is the custom fitting zippers to allow Mast Up storage along with a 10 year life expectancy. If you store mast down as others have mentioned you can frame your own easily. I used 1 1/2" semi flexible black plastic well pipe to frame and a heavier duty black /silver tarp that is good for 5 years when I stored mast down. The Mast Up was the big thing for me and over the life of the Fairclough the savings on the mast de-step/step every year (even including a down check every few years) makes the cover FREE.Stan"Christy Leigh"c320 #656
I agree with Christy. I also have a C-320 and recently purchased a custom cover. If you can store your boat with the mast up the money saved will pay for the cover over time and you don't need to spend time/money building a frame for support. Takes less than an hour to install. For the C-320, counting shipping and extra access zippers, will run you around $1,600.
