Hunter 25.5 Winter Projects

This is just a some photo's of my winter projects on my Hunter 25.5. Most of my additions were inspired by some of the posts on this site so i would just like to share my progress.

Projects entail...
rehab wood Cetol 2 coats, Cetol Gloss 2 coats
recover v-berth and starboard settee cushions
Ice box cover/led inside
new starboard hidden shelf ----bosley
rehab sole 1 coat Cetol so far, 2 more to go. last step before launch
insert chart on table under Lexan
fans x2
generator in starboard Lazerette
under glow LED lighting through out cabin. 14 LED's total
pop top supports
new port lights -removed and surface cleaned
new hatch -removed and surface cleaned
wine glass rack ---bosley
stain remover on all carpet on hull
cut to fit linoleum in all galley and shelving surfaces.

Interior about %85 percent complete

Project is about %60 complete

left to do i will be replacing the motor mounting wood
adding two bilge pumps
adding electric sink
Epoxy the port light holes
bedding the new port lights and hatch
sealing the toe rail
marine tex few cracks and such on the deck
installing battery charger
install spin pole deck mounts
install spin pole t track on mast
install bimini already have one just needs to be modified slightly
canvas projects. Sail cover, winch covers, tiller cover

It's a labor of love and it looks like it's coming along well. There is a legendary member here who saved an old 25.5 that was actually abandoned at a dock where it'd grown to the bottom and was encrusted with barnacles right to the bottom. He brought it back to a point that I'd have never believed if I hadn't seen it myself. Do an archive search for Brian and Steph or boat babe or sailin' a 25.5. They've had a great time in theirs and sail it all over the fl/ga coast and down to the bahamas too. You'll have a very capable boat if you stick to it.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. It gets daunting at times. This is funny. Actually you notice in the list given i cited Bosley (brian) credit for my wine glass rack and the hidden shelf. I borrowed those ideas from his post pics. His boat inspired my Huge to do list.

My boats name is Acrewed Interest but it is feeling a lot more like Empty Pocket each project...
