Unbelievable!

That a cradle would be built that narrow. And that the yard would not put something under it on a gravel surface. Hope that neither of those boats is yours. :)

Unbelievable that a yard that has so many requirements and rules would let that happen.

Yes that is my 336 holding up a C&C 35. Only a few scratches on SS rail and cleat. Happened last spring durng high winds and thawing ground. C&C cradle has been widened and will not be next to me this winter.

Mast left up + narrow cradle = reclining boat

I think I'll ask the yard if they could not park me next to a boat with the mast left up. Can we keep this picture around for next layup season when people start asking if they should unstep their mast or not? Sure looks like it could have been a lot worse. Paul sv Escape Artist p.s. It's blowing 40 knots (inland) here in Connecticut today.
