imho boat stands are the way to go. they can be purchased used . they store
easily and they can be moved easily when working on the bottom.

Don't forhet to support the keel fore, aft and middle. Placing blocks only
fore and aft cpold lead to damage. The void in the aft end of the keel isn't
stong enough to support the weight of the boat. Trust me on this one. We had
to repair it after the yard move us in La Paz and didn't block us properly.

I sit mine on a railway sleeper that is about 8 feet long and 12" x 8"
