I Have a 88 Wing Keel 22 that had its mooring wraped around the keel last year and did some damage to the aft edge of the keel. In some places its down to the lead and others its just little scratches. What is on top of the lead (is it just epoxy?) If it is should i just clean off the bottom paint and skim coat w epoxy and re apply bottom paint or is there a better procedure for this repair.
