Windvane

[Dubai]

Out in a bit of a blow recently on my Hunter 326 and my mast top mounted wind vane has been destroyed.
Appreciate any advice on replacing either with the original model if still available or recommended replacements.
It is just the plain ol' manual version not electronic type.

I have no idea. It was on the boat when I purchased it 4 years ago. I'm guessing it is the standard unit fitted by Hunter.

I have a Davis Instruments wind vane that has stood up for 12 years. I would guess it may be whatever you can get in Dubai that is about similar.

In the interim tie either pieces of wool or audio tape to the shrouds for an indicator.

We have a 2001 h320 with ST-60 Raymarine instruments. The plastic cup wind vanes are easily replaceable. is your boat European version?

No it's US version, I shipped it over from SF.
I can find very little here in Dubai so usually I buy stuff from the US or UK.
I have ordered several bits from the SBO store without any hassle.
I have seen the Davis units online, just not sure which is most suited to my boat, especially fittings wise.
