I am wondering if it is normal for the shroud on all of the windows to stick out on the outside of the boat. Should they be flush? If so has anyone had to trim theirs?

Belt Sander.

Stephen: One of the fellows in our marina has a '78 H'30. The portlights frames where cracked and broken. They took a grinder to them and then sanded them down. If your just need to be shortened, get a belt sander and shorten um up. It will save your ankles and shin bones from a lot of damage. If they are damaged too bad, you can order new ones from the Thrifty Mariner in FL.
