I need to replace my windows in my V25. I am sure that I have read threads here that suggest Butyl as a sealer. But can not find anything now that I need help. I have plenty of Plexi Glass to make my own replacement windows, but can not find the rubber channel that they set in. Is this where the Butyl is used? It seems like the rubber channel would hold the Plexi in the aluminum frame better and the Butyl would be used around the outside between the aluminum and the fiberglass.
Anybody have any pointers to window repairs? Or advice?
