Beneteau 1st38 REGENT POINT
We have First 38 Beneteau 1982. We’re having to replace our side windows or maybe they’re called sky lights since they don’t open. Does anyone have the true measurements or have any suggestions on how to do this?
Thanks

You have the lenses in aluminum frames, I believe (unless someone's already done something different). Frames can be removed, disassembled and the old lenses used as templates for the new. Most plexiglass outfits will custom cut if you don't want to DIY. I'd recommend DC 795 or, given the frames, good butyl tape for resealing them when you put them back in.

Photos of the port lights configuration from outside as well as interior would be helpful.

Not just helpful but mandatory. Some of the people reading this (me included) don't know a Beneteau from a Benadryl but are well experienced in replacing non opening portlights on other boats. Overhead windows would be called non opening hatchlights.

Have a look at this video for how the pros replace non opening port and hatchlights :

Also check the archives for additional information on removing the glass (acrylic) so it can be used as a template.

I've found images of the First 38 with and without obvious aluminum exterior frames, so job one is to ascertain which the OP is dealing with.
