Yes they did.
Dave: They had plastic frames. They where not the most attractive thinks and they tend to break if anyone steps on them. I am not sure but some of the early H'34's had aluminum frames. The later ones where like the 31 with the plastic frame that looked like molding. If you look at the broadside picture of the Hunter 31 on the Boat Information pages you can get an idea of what it looked like. You may contact Mark at Mark Plastics in Southern Cal. he has replacements for these boats. I do not know if he provides just the frames or the engine window.
