I need assistance from someone who like me purchased the $16.00 Windlass remote that then jumped to $60.00 a few weeks ago. Mine arrived without the instructions and of course the wiring schematic. The seller has not answered my e-mail requests. Could someone please provide the info. Thanks in advance!

Red on red (positive) terminal and black on black (negative) terminal. The other two wires go to the leads that connect to your existing foot switch. You have a 50% chance to get it right. If it is reversed just change the wires. I was lucky and got it right the first time. All of the wires will be conected to the controller that is inside the boat near the windless.
